The staff are nice, and the place falls somewhere between good and bad. The rooms were clean enough, the WiFi worked well, and you could refill mineral water for free. Bathrooms don't have sinks, and some toilets won't flush. The air conditioners are older models and kind of noisy.

I had a private room with clean bed linen and a small TV. The AC worked fine, but it was loud enough that you should be ready to wear earplugs. There was no lavatory in the room, so the bathroom floor was always wet. The staff were friendly. Book in advance if you can, since the price can get way higher than it should.

The location was good, but the room needs a lot of work. The AC was very loud, and the windows seemed dodgy, covered with wood instead of glass. There was no sink or mirror in the bathroom. Noise carried from the hall, so I could hear people walking and talking. The bathroom also had a window facing the stairs with no curtain, which was odd.

The staff deserve 5 stars, they were so friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The place is currently being upgraded, with WiFi and cable TV being installed. Better rooms should be available once the work is done. I hope I have a better experience next time.

A friendly staff can store your luggage downstairs after checkout. It's a budget hotel that works for travellers, but it's not suitable for elderly guests or people with young kids. The stairs are difficult to manage without help from hotel staff.
