RedDoorz near EDSA Camp Crame

I stayed 12 nights. The linens were clean, and there was a water dispenser. The floor hadn't been vacuumed properly, though, with bits of residue and floor mat fibers scattered everywhere.

We were travelling through Manila for one night, arriving by bus from Baguio City and leaving on the 8am bus to Legazpi. We stayed in and ordered food because there weren't many places to eat nearby. The small, basic room wasn't a restful stop before a long ride. The street was extremely noisy all night, and the AC was too loud to sleep with on top of that. The curtain fell when I tried to open it. The toilet hadn't been cleaned properly, with hair left by previous guests. Worst of all, we saw two baby cockroaches. I don't know whether there were only two or those were just the ones we noticed, but it was hard to sleep thinking about it. They also had no WiFi because it was apparently “broken.” We didn't sleep well and wouldn't recommend staying here, even for one night.

The rooms are cramped, and at 1200 a night the regular rate doesn't feel worth it. Parking barely fits three cars. The blankets are so thin that I wondered if it was on purpose to discourage running the AC full blast and save on energy costs. We checked in at 1am after New Year's Eve, exhausted, and asked for a little late checkout. They wouldn't allow it, despite the hotel being more than half empty. With no phone or intercom in the rooms, staff knocked on our doors for a wake-up call. I won't return. There are better Airbnbs nearby, and I hope this place closes. Rubbish!

The room and toilet were tiny, and there was no elevator. They kept our luggage by the entrance because the room was too small to bring it in. The price was too high for what you get. Not recommended.
