Stone Creek House

Mei made everything easy, arranging private rides to and from the port and taking care of our luggage. She also took us to some lovely beaches and a hiking trail we really enjoyed. The meals were made to suit our preferences, and the island-hopping trip, with its beautiful beaches and colorful coral reefs, was a highlight. Stone Creek House has a charming atmosphere and a great location. I highly recommend it for the comfort, lovely surroundings, and thoughtful service.

Stone Creek House is spacious, clean, and charming, with strong internet. It's close to the plaza, where you can get essentials, and I'd definitely stay again. We'd booked a flight to Tablas Island without knowing how to reach Romblon Island. Carlos helped us figure it out and was incredibly pleasant and accommodating. He suggested great places to visit and eat, and connected us with the right people for our land and island tours. The service was exceptional.

The location is great and the room is decent, but it feels tired and needs a good clean and some paint. It might once have been luxurious, but it needs some work to get back there. The air conditioning barely kept the room cool, and at nearly 90 euros it didn't feel like value for money. This could be paradise with some investment.

Carlos is the kind of host you hope for: quick to respond, helpful, and ready to arrange a scooter, island hopping, or whatever else you need. After we left the island, he even went back to the hospital because we were missing documents. If you're cool enough, he'll let you hang out with him and his friends too. Arnold was incredibly kind and helpful, and picked us up from the port in his NYC cab trike. He brought us back when we left and arranged the boat tickets. We stayed five nights and would highly recommend it. The design was lovely, with marble throughout, and it had everything we needed: AC, hot water, WiFi, Netflix, Xbox, and board games. Carlos really thought of the details that make guests feel at home. It's not beachside, but staying in town worked well for us. Supermarkets, restaurants, an ATM, and a pharmacy were all accessible, and we spent the days out anyway.
