Cleanliness was a thumbs down. The bathroom I found was full of trash and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. When I asked the staff, they said it was because of the mosquitoes. What? I had to arrange my refund through booking.com, and the staff made no effort.

The room was quiet and spacious, with basic amenities, and it was good value for money. The neighborhood felt accessible and friendly. The caretaker was attentive and even provided a thermos and water jug, while the host responded quickly despite being away. I booked through Airbnb. The flush wasn't working, and the front garden would be nicer without the logs.

It's in a great spot, close enough to the beach while still being quiet. The staff were pleasant and cooperative. The WiFi was very bad, and there was no hot water, though that's common in the Philippines.
