We snorkelled with turtles just off the shore, and the sandy beach was great for swimming. The room had stunning views, though the rooms themselves are simple, with fans and cold water. That suited us for this private island stay, well away from the crowds. The food was incredibly good. It costs a bit more than on the mainland, but the quality made it worthwhile. The staff also communicated well about gluten-free food for our child. We brought some GF ingredients, and they turned them into lovely meals.

The ocean breeze made it cooler here than Port Barton, which was a real plus. We had excellent rooms, delicious food and a lovely, safe beach. The staff were wonderful, and our boat trip was picturesque. The hosts were friendly, too. No more needs saying, you won't be disappointed.

This was our favourite place in the Philippines. The beach and snorkelling were amazing, and the food and staff were excellent. Bring cash, though. Everything on the island has to be paid for in cash, and there's no ATM.

I came here to switch off, and it was incredibly relaxing. There was plenty to do over a few days: lounge in a hammock or on a beach chair, swim, snorkel, kayak, or head into the jungle. I loved having the beach and all that quiet around me. Power was available for only three hours in the evening, during generator hours at the main restaurant. They have lots of solar panels, which I think helped keep Starlink working during the day. The room felt below average and could use a refresh. The toilet had no seat, and the shower barely worked. All meals are made at the restaurant, and the food was good enough. It's a resort off Port Barton that doesn't seem to have much staff around, so it could suit someone looking to disconnect. I booked through booking.com because I couldn't get much response from the phone numbers. Facebook seemed to be the best way to reach them, which I only discovered the day before, when I was starting to panic about getting there. It's cash only, so bring enough for your stay and plan on about 300 to 400 per person per meal, before drinks.

I went on my own and really enjoyed the time to myself. The private beach and its beautiful coral reef were a highlight. The restaurant was good, and the prices felt affordable. The rooms could use a refresh: the mattresses, sheets, towels and mosquito nets were old. I’ve posted photos of the restaurant menu.
