We only had one night at Club Agutaya, but it was a memorable stay, and we’d love to return for longer. We were lucky to get a free upgrade to a villa. It was spotless and smelled fresh, and we appreciated the small touches, including the mosquito lotion sachets. The huge swimming pool has good depth for a proper swim or a relaxing dip. The beach has soft sand and a peaceful feel, and the restaurant has a big selection. There’s pool, darts, and ping-pong if you want to stay on the property. Staff were very friendly and helpful, transportation was available whenever we needed it, and room service and in-room massage were offered. The beach was beautiful at night, too, and we shared some special private moments under the stars.

The resort is a little far from town, so you’ll mostly stay on the property, but that suited us since it’s so peaceful. Sunset walks along the beach were magical, and the rooms had excellent, very cold AC. They give you a coconut citronella serum when you arrive for mosquitoes and sand fleas, and it really works, so use it. We enjoyed a relaxing day on the beach beds, with breakfast by the water as a highlight. The view and beach were beautiful, the facilities were well kept, service was fair, and the staff were friendly overall.

We had dinner at the resort, and they served our food at the beachfront cottages. Long Beach’s white sand was beautiful, especially at sunset, and the staff were very courteous. Before heading back to Astoria Palawan, we played billiards and table tennis.

Club Agutaya and the staff made our stay really memorable. They went above and beyond with our requests, including setting up a surprise birthday dinner. The facilities were beautiful and well maintained, and I liked that the grounds stayed natural, green, and sustainable instead of being overdeveloped. It felt in harmony with the quiet stretch of long beach nearby. We were lucky to catch a great sunset on our last day, and the wide beach in front of Club Agutaya was the perfect place to see it.

The rooms felt roomy and clean, with thoughtful design and local touches, and the staff made sure we were comfortable throughout. I also enjoyed the restaurant's fresh food and mix of local and international dishes. There are island trips and eco-tours to choose from, too. What stayed with me most was how peaceful it felt beside pristine Long Beach. Club Agutaya is a lovely nature escape in San Vicente, Palawan, with sustainable practices and a calm atmosphere. Highly recommended if you're after a quiet break.
