Parrots Boutique Resort

The only things that kept this from being a five star stay were the wifi being out for all three days and the AC cutting off unexpectedly at night. Those seem fixable. We really liked the pool, the excellent service, and how accommodating the team was. Breakfast was delicious, the rooms were top-notch, and having board games to play in the evenings was a nice touch. For the location and easy access, it felt like great value.

The rooms were clean and the staff friendly, but when we complained, nothing changed. It felt like we were simply told to accept it or leave. This might work for a night on a backpacking trip, but it wasn't right for a relaxing week, especially at this price. The area was very noisy, with awful karaoke next door until 10PM, though earplugs were already provided in the room. There were mosquitoes everywhere, with sticks available to deal with them, no wifi, and barely any water coming through. The whole stay was one big misunderstanding.

The pool was great, and the area was pretty quiet during the day. Breakfast was really good too, with fresh local fruit on the side. We only stayed one night, but I'd definitely book longer next time. The rooms, service, and location were all perfect. There is karaoke nearby at night, as people say, but we were ready for it. With Bollsen earplugs, we slept like angels. No, they didn't pay me to advertise :)

Breakfast arrived on our terrace at the time we asked for, which we loved. We spent six days at Parrots and would definitely recommend it if you want a few days in a clean, comfortable, beautiful hotel. Thanks for everything, we'll be back!
