The location was pretty good, close to the beach and about a five-minute walk from lots of restaurants and bars. Our ground-floor room had a private bathroom. It was basic but seemed okay at first. Then we found two massive cockroaches, one on the first evening that we couldn't get rid of, and two more the next evening. There was a storage room attached, with a door rotted through at the floor, so we think they came in that way. We understand bugs are part of island life, but the door seemed like an easy fix and the problem felt avoidable. Staff came quickly to deal with the roaches, which was kind of them, and advised us to put towels under the door to keep any more out. Still, we slept with the light on both nights, worried another one would show up. We couldn't relax, and it ruined the stay for us. I'm sure the upstairs rooms are better, but we wish we'd had a better experience :(

My daughter and her boyfriend are staying there now after arriving from El Nido. Within an hour, Luke became unwell and had to see a local doctor. The staff were amazing. They helped him down the stairs, took them to the doctor and stayed with them. My daughter was understandably worried and upset, and the staff went above and beyond to look after them both until they got back to the hotel. The room had been cleaned for them while they were out. Thank you so much for doing all that. I really appreciate it, especially being so far away!

Rika made arranging our tour, the shuttle to El Nido, and a scooter rental really easy. The room was clean and stayed fairly cool, so the fan was enough even without air conditioning. Wi-Fi dropped out now and then, but we had a great stay in a good location. I’d happily recommend it.

The bathroom looked nothing like the website photo and was in really bad shape. I also had to pay 5 Philippine pesos for just 200ml of hot water, on top of an already expensive stay. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The place was okay for what I paid, though the pool water didn’t look very clear. My biggest issue was the laundry: three shirts and a pair of shorts came back damaged. I noticed too late to claim anything, but the damage was obvious enough that they must have seen it after washing. No one mentioned it, and I’d at least expected a refund of the laundry charge. The room only has a fan, no air conditioning, and there were small lizards inside.
