Grandma's Yellow House

The room was spacious, and I liked having a balcony where you could eat and enjoy the cold breeze. It's a great budget stay in Sagada. The bathroom is quite small, though. I don't have any photos saved on my phone, but I'd still recommend the place.

The caretakers were kind and easy to talk to, and the location near the town center made good places to eat easy to reach. Our room was cozy and nicely furnished, and the bathroom was clean and okay, though the toilet had no flush and the bowl needed a seat cover. The Wi-Fi was shaky at times. We arrived late at night to find our assigned room hadn't been cleaned yet. The staff were kind enough to move us to a barkada room instead.

The staff were lovely and sweet, and both the rooms and bathroom were clean. The linens looked fresh, the rooms were comfortable, and the place had a nice feel, though the bathroom was a bit cramped. Call to ask for a room, since it could cost less than booking online.

Parking is very limited, but the caretakers were kind. Barkada Rooms have private bathrooms, while the other rooms share one. There's a hot and cold shower, and you can ask the caretakers for hot drinking water or get it downstairs in the kitchen. You can keep food in their fridge and cook, just ask first. There's also a pasalubong store at the homestay.
