It’s a basic but satisfactory place for one person or a couple. With young children or teens, the lack of common living space might be an issue. Being tucked several meters off the main road helps keep out fumes and traffic noise. Our room was fairly spacious, with a nice view out back of limestone and pines. The bathroom was clean and had a heater, and the assigned caretaker was accommodating, so it felt like very good value. There is parking, but the access path is very narrow and has blind crests.

I had a nice stay here. The one thing I’d suggest is adding a Wi-Fi extender or mesh in the hallways so the connection reaches the rooms.

The walk from the main road is a little longer, though not too bad, and there’s nature and views of other houses to see on the way. I expected an average place before arriving, but it turned out much better than I thought. What I’ll remember most is how accommodating the owner was. They can contact or arrange tours, trips, transport, and even massages. Thanks for all the kindness, consideration, and help making our Sagada stay amazing! Future guests, bring your own toiletries, bath towels, and hair blower.

I can’t recommend this at all. Try Kanip-aw lodge instead. This was the only place on our whole trip with rude staff and zero customer service. We booked through agoda, and the price made us think we’d get one of the more upmarket rooms of our month-long trip. It was the complete opposite. When we arrived, there was nobody at reception and no one seemed to know about our reservation. We called, and a sleepy, unmotivated woman eventually came. The toilet wouldn’t flush, the sink leaked, and apart from a bed and two chairs there was no furniture. There were no towels. When we asked, we were told towels cost 50 extra each and toilet paper cost 15. The room was 27euro, and we refused to pay those extra charges. Wi-Fi wasn’t available either, contrary to the agoda description. On top of that, there was a huge new construction site right in front of our ugly balcony, with constant noise. Overrated and the worst value for money of our whole trip.
