We had a lovely day at the resort. The food was delicious, especially the fish, which I liked best. We also had chicken and pork, plus very good coconut juice served in the fruit itself. You can swim or just relax on the beach all day. The boat from Davao takes about 7-8 minutes, and it's a pleasant ride. The resort was clean and pleasant, and there were some animals to see.

After spending six hours searching around the island, I finally walked into this place, only to be turned away with a couple of bakeries and bottled water. So I booked with the competitor Villa Rosal instead. It cost about PHP 200 more per night, but included a bit better breakfast, had no restrictions, and the staff were nicer. They lost two weeks of bookings over a simple, dumb restriction, and I'm glad I skipped them.

We paid PHP3500 a night for a premier room, which felt more like a separate cottage. The resort grounds were beautiful and quiet, and the beach area was clean and safe, though just okay. Staff were amazing, the restaurant had great food at reasonable prices, and there was live music on weekdays. The room was comfortable, with a nice bed and linens, hot water, and good water pressure. We rented a scooter near the sasa ferry port and rode seven minutes to the resort. Parking was free. Very cool place, and I'll be back soon. Thanks, Paradise staff!

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and you can enjoy the beach anytime. The resort itself is stunning and relaxing, with a gorgeous sunset to watch by the sea. Food is a bit pricey, but still felt worth it for the setting. Their own boat to Davao City also made the trip really convenient, and the staff were attentive and welcoming.

The room was only worth three stars for me. There was just one socket, and the shower handle was so stiff I nearly sprained myself. Service also gets three stars because Mr. Jun Diamante had such a negative effect on the stay. We'd come from Zamboanga City to Davao City for a wedding, then planned a day tour on Samal Island. While having lunch, we got tired and decided spontaneously to stay the night. I booked two rooms through Agoda, choosing this resort because the photos looked clean and well maintained. I'm particular about cleanliness, especially the toilet, so I had high hopes. Check-in was where things went wrong. The front office attendant gave unclear information, offered little guidance, and didn't explain the available options. It felt like we were being pushed to pay more, even though alternatives were available. We were exhausted from traveling, so I asked to speak with the manager. Mr. JUN DIAMANTE was dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of sorting things out, he escalated the situation, raised his voice, and stood with his hands on his waist in a way that felt aggressive. We felt unwelcome. We even considered cancelling, despite the booking being non-refundable. JUN DIAMANTE seemed indifferent, as though the payment already secured mattered more than our experience. Mr JUN DIAMANTE then walked away, leaving the front office staff to handle things without resolving anything. The rest of the team were excellent, friendly, attentive and accommodating. We spent nearly ₱10,000 on dinner because the service staff made us feel so well looked after. The next morning, I spoke with the owner, Mr. Rodriguez, and appreciated how calmly, professionally and kindly he listened to my concerns. It was a complete contrast with MR JUN DIAMANTE. This resort has great potential and a strong team, but one poor leader like JUN DIAMANTE can affect the whole guest experience.
