We spent a month here as a family of eight, my husband, daughters, brothers, and sister-in-law, and it felt like home from the start. The house was calm, welcoming, and peaceful, with the beach right there for swimming, snorkeling with fish and turtles, and letting the kids play in the sand. It felt far from mass tourism and was a lovely place to unwind. Gidz was our right-hand man throughout the stay. He was so kind and caring, and my husband has a lot of respect for him. He helped make the whole trip a success. We explored much of southern Cebu, with its amazing scenery and waterfalls, and also took short trips to Bohol, Dumaguete, and Siquijor. We were always happy to return to our quiet retreat, like having a holiday within the holiday. I only wish we'd booked another month. Thank you for everything.

The property was peaceful, beautiful, and well cared for. It's close to a couple of waterfalls and several dive spots. Thanks to the host and the attentive caretaker for making the stay memorable.

We found a peaceful break from the noise of the big city here, with warm, personal service from Hanz & Eden. The beachside breakfasts were a highlight each day. It's a rare find on Cebu, almost like having your own private resort, with little surprises for newcomers. The white beach is just steps from the room, so you can watch beautiful sunsets or wake up by the shore. It's a lovely place to bring someone you love, and we'll definitely return.

The seaside setting is stunning, and we loved unwinding in the hammock or going for a snorkel. We hired a scooter to visit the nearby waterfalls, and they were all worth seeing. The owner was lovely and always ready to help. This has been our favorite place so far in the Philippines, and we'd happily come back and recommend it to anyone.

Eden made the stay for us. She was so kind and gave us loads of useful tips, from renting a motorbike to restaurants, waterfalls, snorkeling, and islands to visit. After the long drive from Cebu City, you turn left down a little path and come out at a beach. Look to the left and there’s this small hotel right by the shore. That's what I call paradise. I loved everything about it, and our time at Carolina Del Mar was the best part of the whole Philippines trip.
