Getting around to explore was easy, with aesthetic coffee shops and restaurants nearby. It’s a lovely place, with good food and ambience, and the staff were really nice. The service was top notch.

The location gives this place potential, but its condition and service don’t justify the rates. Our room smelled musty, the toilet had no exhaust, and the shower kept swinging between hot and cold. The pool water looked a bit murky and oily, which made us less comfortable using it. Breakfast was okay but basic for the price. The room rates are comparable to a 4-star hotel, yet the overall standard fell short. Billing was another frustration: they wouldn’t honor the senior citizen discount after the amount had already been debited to my card. That should have been explained clearly or handled more fairly. Maintenance, cleanliness, and guest service, especially around billing and discounts, need a lot of improvement.

We come here often for the good food and coffee, and celebrate family occasions and milestones here. We’ve definitely felt we got our money’s worth.

Checkout turned up a charge for Room 2, which wasn’t ours, and they only showed us the breakdown after I questioned the total. That capped off a stay full of confusion over billing, rooms, pool access, and where we were supposed to eat. My family was left standing without help at the coffee shop after we’d been told we could eat there and order from the restaurant. A restaurant staff member eventually redirected us, and I politely asked for assistance because we couldn’t make sense of the instructions. We had also been told we could use the Lakeside pool, then the next day staff suddenly said we couldn’t. That felt like another coordination failure. On arrival, the receptionist insisted we owed extra for guests, saying the booking was for 3 people in a lakeside villa, which I believed cost around P~6k, even though I had booked and paid for a Family Suite for 6 adults at about P12k. I had to insist and show my confirmation before they agreed to check, and then they said it was a misunderstanding. Instead of simply honoring the original booking, they said they had moved us to a Lakeside unit with 2 rooms for 6 people because guests get moved when there’s an event in the Hillside area. That explanation didn’t add up: no one had told us or asked us first, we shouldn’t have been charged extra, and plenty of guests were still staying in Hillside. At first they offered us a room worth much less than what we’d paid for. Only after I pushed back did we get the accommodation we had paid for. There were too many mistakes, from room assignment and access to dining directions and billing. If you don’t check everything carefully, you could end up paying too much for a room that isn’t what you booked. The front desk and operations need much better coordination and accuracy. For a place at this price point, the stay didn’t meet expectations.

The place is nice, but the rooms feel overpriced at ₱3,500 for two people. Breakfast is included, but the beef was really salty. The TV didn’t even have Netflix. Finding a big spider on the bed made things worse, and the staff offered no help, reassurance, or compensation. They literally said, “Baka napasok lang po yan, ma’am, pero nalinis naman po ang kwarto.” That’s not the service I’d expect for the price.
