The location is the best, and the staff were accommodating with very mabilis service. I loved the place’s rustic beach vibe, and we did enjoy our stay, but honestly it badly needs an update. Everything feels dated. They don’t need to change the aesthetic, but the essentials need work: bathrooms, towels and linens, floors, tables and chairs, and the other amenities and facilities. The family room really suits a group of friends. The property itself isn’t a super great deal. I almost booked a newer hotel in S3 for only 7k, but chose this at 10.5k mainly for the location. If you’re a big group wanting a great location in S1 for a fraction of S1 hotel prices, and you’re not too fussy, this is one option.

Jerico, the very accommodating tour guide near the hotel, can help you book activities. We had a good stay overall, and we didn’t need anything fancy since we wouldn’t spend much time in the hotel. The location is great, right on the beach. Our room was okay, and the beds were comfortable, though the wood floors were noisy. There was a weird bathroom smell, maybe from a wet towel, and some signs of mold near the door.

The location is perfect, but people at the bar next door were shouting in the middle of the night.

We enjoyed our time in Boracay, even though the lack of sleep left us grumpy. The hotel is right on the beach, and the location is hard to beat, but the noise was a real problem. Music from the nearby bar kept us awake until midnight, and we could hear everything through the walls. A few times we were woken by neighbors leaving early for flights, sellers on the beach in the morning, and drunk customers coming back at night. We’re not fussy, but we wouldn’t recommend it if a good night’s sleep matters to you.

Getting to the beach takes just three hops, which is great. The room can be noisy, though: the wooden floor carries every heavy step from upstairs, and the neighboring pub’s subwoofers made the room and bed shake. You might be up late because of it, though maybe that was just a weekend issue.
