The place was clean and well maintained, with beautiful views. The staff were very accommodating and genuinely fun to spend time with, and that made the stay feel like home. It was a really pleasant visit, and I'm looking forward to coming back! :))

The staff were nice, but from what we saw, they seemed friendlier toward foreign nationals and treated them better than us locals. The service was poor. Staff were inside near the gate, so I don't understand why it was so hard to communicate with us outside. We don't object to fees like corkage, but the room and service should feel worth the cost. The AC took a long time to cool, so I had to run the electric fan too. It eventually got cold, but an expensive room didn't even have a blanket. It didn't feel family friendly to me. Maybe I could have enjoyed it more as a couple, like the foreign nationals staying there.

We liked it so much we added another night. The cottages sit right on the seafront, and you can hear the waves all day and night, with some even splashing onto our window. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Water refills cost 10 pesos per litre, and boiling water for tea was 5 pesos. You can eat at the resort or walk a few minutes to some nice little restaurants. It's right on the Ceres bus route, and the driver dropped us at the front gates. Everything was very clean, and the shared toilet was always stocked with toilet paper and soap. The shower had hot water, which was a treat. The WiFi was surprisingly among the strongest we had on our whole Philippines trip. Stairs from the resort lead straight into the ocean for swimming and snorkeling. The area just outside is a mix of rocks and sand. For the best snorkeling, swim about five minutes to the "right hand direction" ---> from the stairs. The water there was full of colorful soft and hard corals. We saw lots of fish, some nudibranch, and even a turtle. Wish we could've stayed longer. Thank-you!

The owner is a sweet, welcoming host who really cares for her guests and makes them feel at home. The staff have always been amazing and welcoming to me, whenever I come and at any time of day. The views are incredible, with waves breaking right below or at your doorstep, and the marine sanctuary for snorkeling is just down the street. There are also many springs and waterfalls in the area. Be aware that most rooms have shared bathrooms and showers. For these prices, though, waking up to those views and waves is hard to beat. I'll keep coming back and bringing friends! The Ceres bus terminal is 3km away, Bato boat port to negros is less than 500m away, and the marine sanctuary is under 1km away, either by swimming out or walking. A fast boat to dumaguete and whale sharks are only a short bus ride away.
