I felt really comfortable here. The hotel was clean and spacious, and I loved staying here ❤️

After switching hotels because the others nearby were dirty, I finally found a quiet, clean place to stay. The room was clean, and the air conditioning was freezing cold. It was better than the three other hotels I’d stayed at in the area. One of the best places I’ve stayed with my family, and I recommend it as the best in the area.
For a single night, this place is just okay. The room was comfortable and clean, but small and so dim I had to use a flashlight to see into my luggage even with the light on. The bathroom was acceptable, though the toilet seat was loose and not attached. There was no breakfast. It may be one of the better hotels in the town center, but it needs improvement, and I wouldn’t stay more than one night.
The location is the only real advantage. When I first stayed here, HGC was new and the amenities were still decent, though it already felt like profit came before customer service. The layout is terrible. By 2022, the facilities had deteriorated. Some rooms had broken knobs, air conditioning that didn’t work, and key cards that failed, with no duplicate key available. The rooms smelled strongly of awful deodorizer, and corridor noise was uncontrolled and terrible, especially at night. The staff were rude and lazy on both occasions I encountered them. I had forgiven them the first time.
The views from the hotel were very good, and getting to transport, restaurants, the local market and convenience stores was easy. Around 5 PM, thousands of birds gather on the power lines and cables and stay there until the next morning. It’s an amazing sight. The attendants were helpful and accommodating. They let us put leftovers in the reception fridge, reheated the food the next morning, and we ate it with the hotel breakfast. The breakfast itself was unusual for a hotel or inn, but it tasted good. We were in room 315 on the third floor. My friend spotted that the smart door lock was broken. When we returned after eating, the key card wouldn’t open it despite many tries. A technician, who wasn’t wearing a hotel uniform, also couldn’t get in, and eventually forced a PVC card between the door and latch to open it. We felt unsafe, but no other room was available for the four of us, so we stayed and hoped everything would be okay. I hope the lock has been fixed by the time you read this.
