The beach right outside is a real plus, and the place looks beautiful at first glance. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very good for the price. The backpacker dorm is affordable, but far too crowded. A space that could comfortably hold four, six at most, had eight beds, leaving nowhere for lockers or anything else. Bags ended up all over the floor. I was lucky to share with seven girls, because eight guys in there would've been a complete mess. The bathrooms were the biggest problem. There was basically one shower bathroom, and it was very dirty. Whatever the price, a hostel shouldn't have that level of cleanliness. I think the place has a lot of potential, and hope management improves it.

The porch is big and the views are great. It's clean and comfortable, with a full kitchen and reasonable monthly rates. There's no air conditioning, but you really don't need it. No restaurant on site, though several really good ones are only a short walk away.

Our room for four had lots of space and a lovely breeze, with the occasional chicken wandering around. Food was scarce while we were there, but there are good restaurants all around.

The room and bathroom were clean, the air conditioning worked well, and they helped us rent a moto, which was a plus. Still, I was a bit disappointed. There isn't a beach despite what the place's name says, and the deluxe room had no sea view even though that was what they told us. I asked twice for bottled water at the bar, but they didn't have any. The neighbors were extremely noisy early in the morning. Most of the staff weren't very nice, apart from the boss and one woman.

It's quiet and relaxing, and you can cook in the cottage or do your laundry. Just keep in mind that the bar shuts at 8 pm.
