Bermuda Triangle Bungalows

We felt uneasy leaving our belongings here, so I wouldn't recommend staying. At check-in they make you sign a waiver removing their liability for stolen items. Has theft happened, or are they just trying to prevent a lawsuit if something goes missing? I've travelled a lot and never had to sign anything like it. It took away the comfort and pleasant touches of the bungalow and service, including the afternoon snacks. There isn't beach access. The ocean views in the photos are from when the property was new, a long time ago. Mosquitoes weren't an issue for us, though other guests have mentioned them. Some reviewers described wonderful service, but that wasn't our experience. It wasn't bad, but before the 9 pm closing time the evening front desk was mostly covered by the caretaker next door, who seemed bothered when we asked questions. For this price, I expected better.

For Philippine standards, the room was very clean and had no mold. Whenever we asked, they brought extra towels or fresh sheets, and we got a little gift of handmade soap when checking out. We were very happy with our stay and can definitely recommend the place. We were only here one night, but this was the best accommodation of our Philippines trip. The location is convenient, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We'd read complaints about mosquitoes getting inside, but management seems to be working on it: mosquito coils were outside the doors, and free natural repellent was available. When it rains, they put towels by the door to keep water from coming in.

We left right away. The staff weren't very welcoming, and they made us sign a waiver saying we were responsible if anything was stolen from the room. One of the doors wouldn't lock, and the bathroom was outside. Anyone could climb the wall around it, and its door wouldn't close either. They said we could use a chair to lock it. The lockbox was broken and too small for a laptop.

We loved the outdoor bathroom, which looked great, and the water pressure and temperature were just right and adjustable. The rooms are huge and clean, with loads of natural light from the high ceilings and big windows. We had a great few nights here with my boyfriend and would definitely come back.
