The staff made our stay good enough for the family to enjoy. The lifeguards, maintenance team, housekeeping, and even the chef gave exceptional customer service. Whenever we asked about something or complained, it was fixed. Still, at 12k/night/room for the frances room and Christine room, I was upset that I had to ask for extra towels when they knew there would be five of us. We got two water bottles and one amenity kit. The balcony was dirty, and the shower water wouldn’t drain. After two of five people showered, we were already stepping in dirty water. By the time all five had used it, you can imagine how nasty it got. Water also pooled around the toilet, where there was no drain. I finally asked them to clean it, and they did right away. From my experience at first-class Fairmont-level resorts in the US, CA, and Mexico, with much better beaches and comparable prices, this was worth 5k/night at most.
