Treasure Island Beach Bungalows

I never stayed overnight at Treasure Island Resort, but I've eaten there often. The omelet is great, the rooms looked nice when I saw them, and the owners are really friendly.

We booked two nights in a sea-view room, and both the room and terrace were great. The view, with the bamboo trees, was amazingly nice. We skipped the restaurant, but liked the breakfast sandwiches. Small downside, they don't top up the coffee or shampoo in the room each day.

It was peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed. We stayed four nights in a beachfront room, with welcoming staff and housekeeping keeping it tidy every day.

We only spent one night here, so not much happened during our stay. The room was spacious, and the window grills felt reassuring for keeping our things secure while away. It was clean, though the yellow lighting made it a bit dark and there was no bidet. The area is quiet if you want a break from Siquijor's crowds, but it isn't a nice beach location. The location itself didn't work for us. It's beside the road, and we couldn't park inside, so be prepared to leave your car overnight along the roadside. Service was okay. Also, please don't put out those tiny extra pillows if they can't be kept clean. We've had the experience many times of them smelling bad. My fiance booked the place, but I wanted to leave my own review.
