The place was clean, bug-free, and had a decent bed and Wi-Fi, plus Netflix. There’s a pool, though we never saw it, and a 24H bulalohan nearby. It’s within walking distance of the beach, and the male caretakers showed us the back door to get there. Parking was wide, gated, and secure. The rooms lock and the building has a gate. Still, I felt cheated by how expensive it was for the accommodation. I’ve used many Airbnbs in different states and countries, but I’ve never felt as unwelcome as here. The host never spoke to us face-to-face except to ask if we’d cook. Nobody explained whether we could use the kitchen, kettle, microwave, air frier, drinking water, or rooftop pool. When we asked about cooking, we were told there’d be a Php300 gas fee for one night. There were reminders everywhere to keep the bedroom and bathroom spotlessly clean and dry or face a fine, which I think was php1000 for sand. No bathroom hooks or hangers, no bedroom trash bin, no slippers, and you have to enter the house barefoot. They gave no towels until we asked their helper, and the towels we got were stained. A previous review said breakfast was included, but we got none. The CR sink had old, dirty drainage, there was no hot and cold shower, the water pressure was weak, and the pillows were cheap and hard.
