We spent a whole week at Villa D’ arco on my first trip to marinduque. The staff were warm and helpful, and it’s affordable, with easy access to the town proper. We’ll definitely come back. Thanks so much!!!

You can bring your own food, and there’s a zipline and slide down in the lower part of the resort. The landscaping is lovely, but the property sits on a slope with lots of steps, so getting around may be hard for elderly visitors. They could instead stay in the cottages at the top, near the pools. The location is handy too, close to Santa Cruz town proper and easy to reach.

There’s a kitchen for cooking and eating, plus a good-sized living room with a huge TV. It works well for a big group, though you should book at least one room with its own bathroom.
