The bathroom needs work because water collects in the middle, though the place has the essentials, including free water and coffee. It’s also close to Kota Beach, MJ Square, and other businesses. The staff were helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, especially Kuya James and Ate [Name], who did their best to assist us. We’re sorry we let our exhaustion and stress spill over onto them. The stay got off to a rough start. We’d booked March 21-23 on Agoda on January 4 and received confirmation, then messaged on March 15 to say our night flight meant we’d arrive late. When we reached the property around 5:30 AM, though, staff said there was no confirmed booking. After a long trip with little sleep, we waited until about 7:30 AM without a clear answer. The owner wasn’t there, and the staff handling things didn’t have the booking details. We finally checked in around 9:00 AM. We weren’t offered compensation for the time lost, and had to ask ourselves for the cooking fee to be waived. We’ve visited Bantayan several times, but this was our first stay here, based on the good reviews and recommendations we’d seen online. The property has potential, but guests’ time, plans, and money deserve proper care. Mistakes happen, but reliable bookings, clear communication, accountability, and management speaking directly with guests would make a big difference. We appreciate the staff’s effort to make us comfortable, and hope those improvements give future guests a better experience.

The receptionist suggested we check out the third floor, where there were card and board games, and said we could borrow the Bluetooth speakers and two microphones for karaoke. Downstairs, there’s free brewed coffee and a small store for food. Cooking is allowed for a small fee. We were in room 9 on the second floor. There was enough floor space for luggage up to 28 inches long and 20 inches wide. Towels, blankets, and hangers for drying clothes were provided, and when we asked for extra blankets, they brought them promptly. The bed was soft, the pillows comfortable, and the air conditioner worked well and seemed brand new. There’s also a smart TV with Netflix and YouTube. We didn’t take any photos, unfortunately. The location is handy for the wet market, places to eat, a laundry shop, church, and tricycle terminal. We stayed here during our Bantayan trip and would definitely recommend it.

We got there at 2 AM, and the kind, helpful staff still welcomed us, even though other hotels and lodges were closed with no front desk available. The room was clean and affordable. Five stars.

Motorcycle parking and CCTV on every floor made this a secure, practical place to stay. It’s also easy to reach the beach, restaurants, and nightlife. The property is newly built, and the toilet, linens, and rest of the facilities were very clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We were two people here for three days and had an awesome time. Recommended 👍
