Hey MoJo Guesthouse

The roof deck is a nice bonus, and the staff are polite and very accommodating. The place is right in the middle of restaurants, beaches, and pretty much everything you’d want to visit. My only gripe is that our room didn’t have enough outlets. Still, 9/10 and highly recommended.

The roof deck was a great spot to relax, work, eat, or hang out from morning through evening. Wi-Fi was fast enough to work from there, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. They can also arrange tours and motorbike rental. The colorful building sits on a busy street in poblacion, close to Amihan and Sugar beaches, plus pharmacies, groceries, restaurants, and coffee shops. It’s a very affordable high-end hostel: the rooms are nice and clean, the water runs well, and the place feels secure. I liked the shower gel and shampoo, and they gave us a welcome drink and shell necklace on arrival.

We spent one night here with my wife. The rates are affordable so far, and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. If you want to stay just a few meters from a guest inn and close to Bantayan’s famous beaches, this is a great spot.

We had a good, memorable stay for two nights and would definitely come back to Hey Mojo. The room was clean, and the owners and staff were so accommodating. We met the owners and got to play with their golden retriever. If you need something, you can just ask and they’ll let you borrow it. The location is really convenient, right in the center. It’s a 2-3 minute walk to MJ square and 5-10 minutes to the beaches. They also let guests hang out on the rooftop.
