The zipline from the Villas across to the other side of the cove was our favorite activity. They also offer jetskiing, water tricycling, and kayaking. The restaurant food was satisfactory, though some dishes didn’t match what the menu showed, and portions felt overpriced. Staff were pleasant and attentive, and the calm waves made Santiago Cove a nice place to wind down. It’s much simpler than its sister location, Vitalis Villas, but alright. We were disappointed that the rooms didn’t have all the amenities promised, especially for the price. We hope to see improvements on future visits.

The breakfast buffet was extraordinary, with a great selection and lovely service. Our villa by the pool was a treat, and the beach was calm with clear water. There’s a good activity center for adults and kids. As a senior, I got to tick off some bucket list things: jet skiing, kayaking, visiting the petting zoo 🐎🐎, and swimming in the open sea 🤣🤣🤣. After a tiring day, we had a gentle, soothing massage in our room. It was a wonderful getaway 😎😎😎👍👍👍😋😋😋.

The calm waves were nice for kids, and the location itself is beautiful. Staff were super friendly, and there’s a free ride to Vitalis villas and the mini zoo. You can try the water activities too, and there’s a live band at dinner on weekends. The rooms feel a bit like home, but they’re somewhat outdated, with the bathroom needing particular attention. Some restaurant food could be better, especially the burger.

The short walk to the beach was a highlight, and it was easy to get around from Vitalis Sands. Staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating, which made the stay feel welcoming. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with enough room to relax, though the decor could use updating. Food choice was limited, and the prices seemed high for the quality. A decent beachside stay if you value comfort and good service.

The beach needs regular cleaning, maybe a community cleanup every other day, and people need to know where to put their trash. Otherwise it could end up covered in algae like Boracay. Jetski and crystal kayak rentals cost less than at Santiago Cove hotel. The price here is good.
