I had booked a room through booking.com and received confirmation, but when I arrived the next day to check in, the hotel was full and had no reservation for me. Neither booking.com nor the hotel would refund me. They just blamed each other.

I only asked whether a room was available.

There are plenty of convenience stores, restaurants, and malls nearby because the hotel is in downtown Tacloban City. Our room was small and had only basic amenities, but at that room rate, it was acceptable.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was good. It felt very homey, and the price was cheap too. I liked it more than I expected and would stay again.

The receptionist was friendly, and getting around from this accessible area was easy. The rooms are small, though fine if all you need is somewhere to spend the night.
