I stay here most of the time when I'm in Leyte, and I like the place. The staff are still the best. I do have a few suggestions for improvement, though. Please clean the toilet properly from ceiling to floor. There can be hairs and other mess left behind, and it smells when it hasn't been cleaned well. Stains or mold show on the shower handle, faucet, and other spots. I hope linens aren't being reused, since that would be unhygienic, though I'm not saying they are. The rugs look old and used, and seem very soiled. They should be replaced. The floors also need sweeping and mopping, including under the bed, where mess is left in some corners unnoticed. God bless.

The small room takes a while to cool down, and the dining area needs a lot of improvement. The hotel is a bit away from the city proper, which means less outside noise. The staff were really thoughtful, even giving us cold water before we left because it was so hot out. Very attentive. I'd give it three stars. If you just need an affordable place for one night, it could work.

The staff were excellent and did their best, and the rooms have great amenities: hot water, a good TV, soft beds, and new furniture. But I changed rooms twice and still couldn't rest. Guests kept slamming doors all night, so it wasn't worth paying for a stay when I couldn't sleep.

The lighting in the conference room is too dim and makes us sleepy. Using only the white lights wouldn't be enough either, so they should use more white lights instead of the dim ones. The room is on the ground floor, and its columns take up space and block some participants' view during presentations. This is maybe the third time we've used the venue, and that issue still bothers us. The lights and air conditioning are good otherwise.

It's only a few minutes from the airport. You can take a jeepney from the airport area for the minimum fare. I think the single occupancy rate, P1000 per night, is the cheapest in Tacloban city. You can choose a free breakfast with it, and the rooms are clean and cozy.
