The location was nice, and the rooms were big enough for the Canadian guests in the six rooms we arranged at this hotel. But two of them found that their lotion and a pack of snacks had gone missing from their rooms. I reported it to the front officer in charge, who said they would investigate. I'm Filipino, and I hope management follows up. Even missing small items can hurt the hotel's reputation and reflect poorly on the good service.

For Php 5,000, this wasn't worth even a quarter of the price. We stayed here with my wife and daughter in January 2019. The towels were so worn they looked like rags, tiles were coming loose, toilet knobs were broken, and the phones didn't work. The lobby walls had mold that was taking the paint off. Outside, the railings were rusty and unstable, and it felt like an accident waiting to happen. Be careful near the cliffs or you could fall. It used to be Theodore hotel, and it was once a good hotel. Now it's horrific. Also be careful using your card: it may be charged right away, and by the time you realize it, it's too late to get a refund. I should have trusted my instinct that this would be a bad overnight stay.

We had a great room with an amazing view, and the chef made really good food. The staff were lovely and welcoming, and they paid close attention to our coffee and meals. Thanks for looking after us, team Basilisk!
