The birthday setup they prepared for our little one was a lovely touch, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating the whole time. We booked the Penthouse for two nights and liked it a lot. It was spacious and clean, smelled fresh when we arrived, and felt comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was good too, with a nice range of choices.

Service was great, and the food was okay, though it seemed to have no salt. But the room was dirty, especially the bathroom. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned properly, there was MOLD on the shower wall, ceiling, and grout, and I found hair in parts of the room when we arrived. The refrigerator wasn’t really working either. We were there for a couple of nights for a wedding and had booked this hotel on a recommendation, so I’d expected better. Cleanliness should be a top priority here.

There was no hot water in the penthouse, and nobody came to fix it. Breakfast was another big letdown. The food looked old and clumped together, including the pasta, rice, and hash browns. The meats looked like they’d come from a can or plastic wrap, then been sliced and heated. The salami didn’t look like salami, and I can’t even describe the “pork sausage.” We couldn’t eat any of it. The egg station seemed like the safest option, but the eggs were cooked in far too much oil. Ingredients that should have been kept in separate bowls for allergens were mixed together because the cooks weren’t using the serving spoons, either handling food with gloved hands or using one spoon for everything. One chef tried making a huge batch of omelets in an overfilled pan, then cutting it up for different plates. Much of it was left behind because people wanted different ingredients. Thankfully, we asked the other chef to drain most of the oil and make ours in smaller batches. We’d stayed when the hotel first opened, when management was proactive about improvements. This visit felt very different, and we’re sad to see the service decline so much. The breakfast used to be acceptable and “healthy,” but its quality is now very poor. We’d like to give the hotel another chance because we loved it the first time, but after this experience it’s difficult. I hope the F&B team and management review their plans for the future.

The indoor playground kept the kids entertained, and the carousel was a fun touch for families. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Casiana last September 2025. It was clean, modern, and peaceful, just right for a quick Tagaytay getaway. The staff were friendly and ready to help, the food was great, and the hotel’s atmosphere made our stay comfortable. We’d love to return. If you want a calm, family-friendly hotel with things for kids to do, this is a great choice.

This was our third visit to Hotel Casiana, and the staff are still friendly and accommodating. The kuya guards are always smiling and helpful too. Our room had no face towel, but reception delivered the ones I requested quickly. À la carte orders at the restaurant start at 11:30 am. On our earlier stays, we liked the spacious room and patio, plus the bathroom’s Japanese bidet with a heated seat. There’s hot and cold water, though the hot water wasn’t as warm as I’d prefer. The Smart TV made it easy to stream Netflix or YouTube, and room service offered food, coffee, and alcohol. The breakfast buffet was okay, but the extension area had less variety than the main dining hall. The kids club costs ₱150 per child with one companion included. The fee for an additional adult seemed a bit steep, though there were plenty of activities, like painting and bracelet-making, as well as toys and books. Staff were really helpful, and I’d happily stay again.
