Pensio de Felipe

The price is cheaper than other places, and my stay was good overall. Still, room service could use some improvement. The Smart TV's internet connection was weak, no Wi-Fi access was provided, and the bath towels were nearly used up.

After three days and two nights at Pensio de Felipe, I felt safe and right at home. The calm, clean and cozy surroundings were even better than I expected, and a lovely fit with the city's good weather. Ms. Jona and the other staff were thoughtful and welcoming. It was a relaxing break from my busy work schedule in the city, and I’ll definitely come back. Highly recommended. ❤

The hosts and helper were accommodating, and Maglabe drive is peaceful if you want to avoid the busy Tagaytay city proper. The establishment is right on Maglabe road, across from CBCP. There’s parking if you’re okay leaving your car along the road in front. The room was clean, but red ants mean it needs serious fumigation during the rainy, wet months. The booking includes towels, toilet paper and complimentary bottled water, with minimal toiletries. Standard rooms have no fridge or AC. Hot water is available, though bathroom pressure is weak, and the Wi-Fi signal is weak too. They don’t serve breakfast, so bring snacks, coffee sachets and extra water. Keep budget-hotel expectations in mind.

Our first stay in Tagaytay was at Pensio' de Felipe, and we definitely recommend it. The surroundings were neat and the room we booked was clean. Ms. Jona also explained where to go and what to ride to reach our destination, including the exact fare. More power, and God bless. See you again.
