The Windy Ridge

We loved our stay as a family. The hotel is quiet and comfortable, in a handy spot just a few meters from Fora Mall and other fast food places. Our Ambassador room was roomy, with a veranda overlooking Taal Lake. The bathroom had a tempered glass shower door and non-slip tiles. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the night guard even wiped down our parked car without asking for anything in return. Great customer service.

From the veranda of our room, we could see Taal Lake. The place itself felt quaint and calming, and the staff were very accommodating. The hotel is about 200m from Olivarez plaza and 10-15m from the main road, close enough to get to easily but set back enough to muffle the busy street sounds. The one downside was that the free breakfast came with only one set choice. I’d definitely return.

The rooms aren’t very spacious, but they have a cozy, homey feel and all come with hot and cold showers. Rates include breakfast, and there are options for solo travelers, groups of 4-6, or a small family. You can get a room with a lovely sunrise view of Taal Lake. The staff are few in number but friendly and accommodating. It’s right near the rotonda, so Tagaytay attractions are just minutes away. Windy Ridge is worth checking out if you want a reasonably priced hotel with a lake view. I’ll be back for a weekend getaway.

The bar and dining area have a nice view, especially in the morning, and the staff are welcoming. It’s a cozy little hotel by the highway, close to the rotunda. The room was average in size, but the bathroom was quite small. The pool is really only big enough for a dip. There’s free parking, and WiFi is only available in the lobby. Fine for an overnight stay.
