My boat to Cebu was cancelled, so I booked one night. It was about what I expected for the price. They’d cleaned the room well before I arrived, so I think it was fine, though not the best deal.

The room was clean, but I was a bit disappointed that the TV didn’t work at all. I’d hoped my kid could watch cartoons. We also waited about 20 minutes to check in because the receptionist was asleep. 😕

Construction in the building got really loud from 6 am. Google Maps also showed the wrong location for the actual address. The room was poor, with cold shower water, a dirty kettle, and a TV that didn’t work.

There’s potential here, but I left disappointed. The room needed a proper cleaning, and for the price I think a clean space is the least you should get. We found belongings left by previous guests, and the towel was ripped with a hole in it. A clean, presentable room would be an easy fix.

We stayed in December 2022, and I wouldn’t come back or recommend this hotel. The dogs caged right across from our room were very loud and went crazy every night. I needed earplugs to sleep. WiFi also wasn’t working. The room and bathroom were filthy when we arrived: the sheets were dirty and used, dust and dirt covered the floor, and the cup and plate were clearly used and unwashed. The sink clogged within seconds, and the shower drain was covered in hair and drained extremely slowly. I know it’s a budget hotel, but every other budget place I’ve stayed has been better.
