The condition of the apartment was awful enough that I wanted to leave as soon as I saw it, but a refund wasn't possible and I couldn't find somewhere nearby that was more comfortable at a reasonable price. The Booking photos were misleading: online it looked much newer, cleaner, and better cared for than it was in reality. There were cockroaches on the first floor beside reception. I have video evidence and am attaching it. The apartment itself was dirty when I arrived. I had to clean the bathroom fixtures myself, and there was a lot of hair on the floor as soon as I walked in. Mold and dirt on the walls should be handled by professional cleaners, not by a guest exhausted after a long international flight. Only one of the building's four elevators was working, so everyone had to share it and waits could reach 10 minutes. It stopped on almost every floor. I was on the 20th floor, and one day it got stuck on the 10th. The doors opened, thankfully, and I had to use the emergency stairs. They were poorly lit, with puddles in the stairwell. I honestly don't know what the puddles were. The corridors were hot, poorly ventilated, and smelled damp. It was hard to breathe while waiting for the elevator. The bathroom windows open onto a strange shaft in the middle of the building, which doesn't fix the humidity. In this climate, proper exhaust ventilation should have been installed instead. Water pressure in the bathroom was very weak. The exterior windows were extremely dirty, as if they'd never been cleaned, and made the otherwise beautiful view look dusty and stained. The apartment doors felt cheap, almost like cardboard, and soundproofing was terrible. You could hear neighbors as if they were inside the apartment. I wouldn't recommend this building.
