The small playground was a nice touch, but the pool was nasty. I found this place through a go to listing that said it was part of BGC, but it isn’t. It’s in the older part of the city, not exactly a slum, though not a particularly nice area either. I’m not sure how old the property is, but it probably was lovely when it was built a couple of generations ago.

It’s not easy to get here, especially from the Pasay area if you don’t have a private vehicle. Still, I’d recommend it for events. The resort is beautiful, with an event hall right beside the swimming area. There’s a pool for kids, and the adults’ pool is large enough for groups. The staff are accommodating, and they have rooms too if you want to stay overnight. A good option for people around Taguig.

We didn’t feel safe here. The hotel is on a scary, very narrow residential street, and there was karaoke going on at night. The receptionist seemed odd and was dressed like she was at home. We’d booked thinking it was the Venice Taguig one, so we tried to get a refund, but she wouldn’t consider our request and kept pushing us to stay so she could take our money. Weirdest “hotel” I’ve ever been to.

We rented the property for my niece’s first birthday and agreed to use it from 8am to 2pm, since they said another customer had booked from 3pm onward. We’d asked about a later start because some guests were coming from far away, but that wasn’t possible. By lunchtime, the next customer’s caterer had arrived, and management wanted us out early so they could set up. We calmly said we’d leave at 2 as agreed, or leave right away if they refunded the unused time. Some guests were only just arriving, so leaving then would have been awful and embarrassing. They refused a refund, and we decided to stay until the agreed time. The next customer and the cleaners or housekeeping then spoke loudly within earshot, complaining that they wouldn’t have enough time and the caterers would have to wait. Management had misled them about when they could start preparing. We were paying customers, and that wasn’t our fault. Just after 1pm, staff began cleaning around guests who were still eating. It was rude and unprofessional. The videoke machine was also broken. My brother asked for the 1,000php videoke fee back, which was separate from the rental, but they said they’d fix it right away. It was fixed too late for us to use it much, and they still charged the full fee. The customer service was horrible, and we were very disappointed.
