The outside looks good, but inside it's awful. Staff were terrible and very rude toward Asians, while seeming to accommodate only white people. The elevators are painfully slow: there are five, but usually only two work. Building management is poor. Admin are both slow and impatient, and don't respond to residents' concerns, yet quickly enforce ridiculous rules, charging 5,000 Philippine pesos for almost a first offense. Don't consider a long-term stay here unless you want a difficult experience. Places around Forbestown are much better, in my view.

I booked Uptown Parksuites Tower 1 through a hotel site after a friend suggested Uptown Bonifacio, a modern upscale area that's growing fast. These rooms are handled by individual owners rather than a hotel, so the one I stayed in felt more lived-in and homey. It had what I needed for a longer trip, especially a washing machine, which was very useful while traveling for weeks. The unit wasn't quite five-star inside, but it was comfortable and functional. The building has a grand, elegant look, with a dramatic facade that lights up beautifully at night and a luxury-style lobby with a stunning chandelier. Uptown Mall, cafés, restaurants, and groceries are just a short walk away. We walked quite a bit to reach some popular spots, though that seems normal as Manila keeps growing. It was a solid, convenient, secure base for exploring Metro Manila.

George Gonzalez made our stay at Uptown Suites in BGC, Philippines fantastic. We came from Guam because my husband had an appointment at St. Luke’s Hospital, and booking with George was seamless. He was friendly, professional, and quick to respond from the beginning. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. We found the shower head broken when we arrived, but he had a maintenance worker there within an hour. He seemed available almost 24/7 and replied to our WhatsApp messages right away, which kept things smooth and stress-free. He really went above and beyond. We'd highly recommend George and Superhost Rentals to anyone visiting BGC.

I think the concierge's name was Alex, though I may be mistaken. My wife wasn't feeling well, and we arrived at 3am hoping to check into our Airbnb early, but check-in wasn't until 3pm and the room was still occupied. The concierge found us somewhere to stay on very short notice. By 4am he had walked us to Tower 2 and helped us check into a 46th-floor room with a balcony and a great view at a pretty reasonable rate. We also didn't have to check out until 3pm. The gentleman at the door helped too. If they hadn't stepped in, it would've been a bad trip. I wish I remembered the concierge's name so I could commend him. This was early morning on Jan 9th. Thanks, guys.

The lobby was chaotic, with just one woman at the desk on Sunday and a teenage doorman who smirked instead of helping. The staff seemed far too few, and lacked the skill and communication to deal with problems. Three of the five elevators were out of service, and nobody tried to manage the queues or find a more efficient way. I watched one elevator descend with 20 people inside after it had stopped eight times before reaching our floor. What a pathetic place. The homeowners association and building management should be replaced and started over. The only hope is that the location makes up for the embarrassing service.
