The pool deck has broken tiles, which felt like a serious hazard with our young child around. We also couldn’t find running water to wash up after swimming, and the restrooms were untidy, dated, and had no working lights. We came for Christmas Day lunch as a family, hoping for a relaxing holiday. Instead, the kitchen took nearly an hour to serve our food, and the place seemed badly understaffed for a major holiday. We had a 2-year-old with us, and the wait was difficult. It also triggered a painful bout of acute gastritis for me. Management should have planned for the holiday rush and brought in more staff. There weren’t servers assigned to the tables, either, so we kept having to walk to the counter for basic help. The resort doesn’t feel worth the price in its current condition. It needs renovation and better management. I hope they take these problems seriously for the comfort and safety of future guests.

The area is nice, though parts of it look run down and could use repairs. The pizza wasn’t good, and the food and drink menu is expensive. The entrance fee is 600 pesos per person, with 500 pesos in consumables, but drinks aren’t included in those consumables. They failed to mention that.

The pool was really dirty, and the facilities clearly aren’t being maintained. Food costs about three times the normal price, so I’d eat in town instead. I wouldn’t recommend this place. I’ve stayed at better resorts with free breakfast and facilities for much less.

Mosquitoes are everywhere, so bring repellent. Also, the sand isn’t white or milky, so keep your expectations in check if you’re hoping for clear water. The pool looks straight out over the ocean, and the place has a calm, relaxing feel. It’s only a few minutes by car from downtown Tagum, which makes the location handy. Seems like a good spot for a company team-building day or another group activity.

Beautiful, cool place, and a nice pick for a group getaway.
