OYO 256 Sakura Suites

I went to look at a room for a friend who needs one early next year. It was small, but didn't look bad. The awkward part came after I got their price list, which included an email address. I asked if I could reserve by email, and the reaction on their faces was bizarre, as though I'd asked them to give me the whole property for free. They gave a very clear “NO,” then less than a minute later said email booking was possible if I included the scanned reservation form. At least they stick to their principles, like a politician. I doubt this is the right place for my friend.

The rooms are only on the second and third floors, and getting to them means using dangerous stairs. There was no room cleaning or towel replacement. The receptionists seemed forced to work there. They wouldn't greet us or even return a greeting, and one day a man was sitting at reception in a sleeveless shirt. Checking out was even worse than I expected because management was so bad. This place is a joke and a waste of money. Beware. There's a much better, more professional hotel on the next road called kojo hotel.

It was an upsetting experience trying to find the place. Agoda and Google Maps gave different addresses, and when I called customer service, they couldn't tell me where it was or which location was the right one. There wasn't even a phone number for the front desk.
