Penny Lane Hotel and Casino

I was here for work and found the room handy, with WiFi, hot water, a bathtub, a little fridge and safe, plus a table and chair to work at. The main downside was hearing the person in the room next door. I assume they could hear me too.

The room was dusty and had a distinct smell. I hope they clean it more thoroughly and improve the property and customer service. For the quality and cleanliness, the price doesn’t seem fair, especially compared with cheaper hotels in Davao.

The place inside is nice, and it’s close to my rental, but most of the slot machines were down and the ones working seemed rigged. There were only two women and four men playing, and nobody to play poker with, which is what I’d come for. It felt nasty. Save your time and small amount of money, it’s a chit hole.

Penny Lane has come a long way since the way the hotel was set up seven years ago. It’s still simple, but now it’s much tidier, cleaner and better organized. Very well done! More power, Penny Lane...
