The room was okay and the location was fine, but the service made this a really frustrating stay. We booked a single room through Agoda, which only permitted one person, although there were two of us. We tried to switch to a twin room for just 100+ pesos more, but reception said they couldn't cancel or upgrade the booking and weren't helpful. I spent about four hours calling Agoda and RedDoorz and talking to customer service several times without getting it sorted out. I finally booked a second room, even though the first one couldn't be canceled. That new booking sat in “processing” for over 20 minutes. We couldn't check in, so we went for a one-hour massage, but it was still processing when we got back. It was already past 9 PM. I called Agoda again, asked them to cancel the second booking, then made another booking while on the phone with the agent. That one finally went through. Coordination was poor, and it seemed the hotel wasn't communicating directly with RedDoorz or Agoda, which caused needless delays and stress.

We arrived to check in around 2am, and staff said towels would be ready by 7am. By morning there were none, no receptionist could be found, and there was no hot water for my two kids, who were already sick with coughs and colds. The receptionist didn't appear until around 10am. Service was slow and the place wasn't well maintained. I had a terrible experience at RedDoorz Hotel. It wasn't worth the hassle, and I'd recommend avoiding it if you want a smooth stay and don't want your itinerary disrupted.

A clean, basic hotel that's suitable for travellers who just need an inexpensive place to sleep. Cold and hot water are available at the front desk area. The main road is right beside it, so traffic is quite audible. Recommended.

It was fine for somewhere to sleep. The internet worked, the room was tiny, and I didn't see any bugs. There's not much around except a dirty lake. The pool next door is available if you buy a drink. I couldn't find anywhere to rent a scooter, so I was pretty bored, though the locals were friendly and glad to meet a foreigner.
