Bakasyunan Resort and Conference Center Tanay

The ride shown in the photo isn't working. This place is huge, which also makes it hard to maintain. If you need somewhere that can accommodate a very large crowd, up to 2,000 people, I’m told there may not be many other places big enough.

The food and the place are nice, but flies are all over the place 😕. Management needs to do something about them for sanitation reasons.

The buffet was delicious, with a good mix of meat and vegetables, and the rates were cheap. We also liked the mountain and lake views, the large grounds, and the active, friendly team building facilitators who gave clear instructions. They managed to provide most of what we asked for, and we enjoyed the social evenings and activities at Bakasyunan Tanay Rizal. Our April 2025 team building stay also had some frustrating room issues. Water pressure was very low, so the shower wasn't relaxing after a tiring day. The bathtub didn't work as advertised, and when we told the housekeeper, the response was, “Ma’am wala na po kasi kaming magagawa dito, ganyan na po talaga yan.” There were cockroaches in the room, too. We had hoped to book the videoke room, but it wasn't available. The room quality needs work to make stays more convenient.

A good spot for groups or a company outing. The pool is great, there are activities, and everyone is approachable.
