Everything about the unit worked well for a longer stay: it was nicely furnished, with a full kitchen, proper stove and fridge, plus dishes, pans and cooking utensils. Hot water came out of the tap too, which I've found is quite unusual in the Philippines. There are five very spacious condos, all on the ground floor, and the swimming pool is just a few steps from the door. The surroundings are very quiet, but it's a quick ride wherever you need to go. I stayed nearly three weeks, and found the staff excellent and attentive. The owner is awesome and has made something special here, a real slice of paradise. If I get to visit Panglao again, I'll absolutely stay here. Aila Homestay is perfect if you want peace, quiet and relaxation and come with an open mind.

We called to reserve and were told it was possible, but at check-in they charged a higher rate. When I complained, one of them swore at me. Setting the price aside, no one should use this place.

The room was full of ants, they were everywhere. Drinking water in the room costs 100p. The place itself is nice and clean, with a big pool.

The apartment had a cold water dispenser, which was really handy. The room was clean and well equipped, and the grounds were kept super clean and well looked after. The staff were helpful and accommodating. Thank you for a lovely stay at Aila.

The staff made a real effort to make guests feel at home and comfortable, and the service was outstanding. Aila is well maintained, and the modern villas were spotless. I had a great stay and will definitely come back.
