The staff were attentive and warm, which helped make our stay memorable. Seed Resort felt peaceful and serene, and our room was comfortable, clean, and well equipped.

The pool was always clean, and the grounds had plenty of trees, plants, and lovely views. It’s close to nearly all the attractions in panglao. I had such a good stay: the staff, the food, and the place all went beyond what I expected. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

The quiet cabanas and lush surroundings made this a lovely retreat. It’s only minutes from the activity at Alona Beach, but the place feels secluded and peaceful. The pool is big and clean. I really enjoyed my stay.

We only paid for two hours of day use, and I was shocked to be told we’d owe another 500 pesos over a bit of water. My daughter had accidentally spilled her water bottle on the couch after we arrived at 2 pm with my best friend and our kids. I tried to wipe it up and apologized to the receptionist straight away, explaining what happened, but she didn’t reply, so I thought that was that. We went swimming, then got a shake. I’d chosen the place partly because my friend works there, and she had greeted us warmly before her shift. A few minutes later, the owner’s daughter, who looked about four or five, told my friend that her mother was angry about the wet couch and wanted to talk to her. That seemed odd to me. My friend checked with me, and I showed her where the water had come from. About ten minutes after that, the owner’s wife came over looking upset and asked bluntly what had spilled. I told her again it was only water. My friend noticed her giving us a side-eye as she walked off. We felt uncomfortable and unwelcome, but stayed in the pool to make the most of our time. When we went back to reception at 4 pm to tell my friend we were leaving, she said I’d be charged the extra 500 pesos. For context, my monthly water bill for a two-story house is only 180 pesos, so that felt excessive for a minor accident. I’d understand if it had been juice or wine, or if the charge were more reasonable and we’d been shown a little grace. I’m a paying customer and care about my image too. I understand they were frustrated, but the reaction felt very invalid.
