MGH alona resort

The hotel has a lot going for it: friendly staff, buffet breakfast, and a central location. The pool is cleaned every day, beach towels are free to borrow, and the room was spacious with cold AC. We also had indoor slippers, complete toiletries, a hot shower, and the usual furnishings, including a TV, cabinets, dresser, kettle, and fridge. The main disappointment was staff punctuality. We requested housekeeping while we were out island hopping, but returned to find the room untouched. They asked if they could clean it then, but we were tired and needed to rest, so we declined. They should have done it while we were away. The pool is supposed to open at 8 am, but the cleaner starts then and takes another hour to finish. Guests, especially those with toddlers, had to wait. It was a good stay overall, though a bit overpriced for the quality.

The only snag was the road into the parking area. After rain, it gets bumpy and full of puddles, which can make driving in tricky. Otherwise, we had a very good stay at MGH Alona. It’s close to Alona Beach but quiet enough to relax, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was generous, tasty, and had plenty to choose from. The service was friendly, and I’d happily return.

The family room was affordable and super spacious, and Alona beach is very close. There are lots of stores nearby, including a korean convenience store downstairs. The only downside is carrying your luggage up the stairs, but otherwise it was alright.

The staff were so warm and helpful, ready to take care of whatever we needed. On our first night, I found a mosquito late at night, and they came to clean the room straight away. It was a simple but clean, spacious room, with good hot water and AC. Breakfast was good too, and the stay was very comfortable.
