Nature Haven Villa - Flower Garden

The reception lady was helpful when I checked out straight away and asked for my money back, so this star is for her. The place looked abandoned, the room smelled musty, the wardrobe was falling apart, and the pool was out of order. For the facilities, I’d give it -5.

We liked being a little away from the main street. It was a 10-minute walk to the main resort, with plenty of people around. Our room was a decent size, though the decor was dated and the lighting poor. The bed was super comfortable, which mattered most to us. We also liked the little kitchen area. We bought eggs, made breakfast every morning, and ate on our small balcony. The pool was lovely and clean, with shade and sunny spots to relax on the sunbeds. With just six bungalows/houses, it never felt crowded, and we were the only ones using it each day. It was cheap, too.

The pool was clean, the rooms were nice, beer was cheap, and the owner was nice. There’s an outdoor kitchen right outside the door, and the laundry came back promptly. The location is tucked down a dark street, with no direct beach access. My main complaint was that towels were changed only every three days. Usually I wouldn’t mind, but with a pool you need dry towels.

The staff were friendly when I happened to see them, though I rarely did. The room felt like a home away from home, with plenty of space and everything you need, and there’s a medium-sized pool. It works well for a longer stay if you want to cook and stock the fridge. Just wash your dishes and keep your smelly trash, since garbage isn’t collected every day. I’d suggest putting a mini fridge inside the room to keep stored food safer, collecting garbage daily even when nobody asks, and taking better care of the gardens, plants, and landscaping by trimming and cleaning them. 😊
