One 4 Da Road

The money was thrown at us when we went back to ask for the right change. Earlier, as we were leaving the bar and trying to pay, a female staff member with long, straight black hair took an unusually long time to process our payment, then gave us too little change. That treatment was unacceptable and shocking. Management should address it, because someone acting this way shouldn't be serving customers. I wouldn't recommend the place. This was the worst experience in Bohol. The racism toward Koreans here is awful, seriously!

The shisha was nice, but the drinks were poorly made. The rest of the atmosphere didn't feel comfortable to me either. There seemed to be a strong focus on older foreign men and young local staff wearing revealing clothes, and it just didn't sit right with me. This is a review of the bar, and it's not for me.

Just rating the One 4 Da Road bar and food. The atmosphere was good and service friendly. The food was bland and lacking flavor, and the pizza came out cold.

It's not fancy, but the men's restroom was the cleanest comfort room I've seen at this kind of place. I saw it mid-afternoon on Sunday, though, so I'm not sure it would be as tidy at midnight on a Saturday. That cleanliness does make me hopeful about the kitchen. They have a full menu of Western and Filipino favorites. This is about the bar, not the hotel. It's called a beachside bar, but you can't see the beach, which is only a short walk away. There's a decent selection of imported and Filipino liquor and beer, plus three pool tables in better condition than I'd expect at an open-air beach bar. The cues are rough, and the felt is stained, but still playable. Not high-end, though if you like shooting pool with friends over drinks, it's a good enough spot. Come casual and stay thirsty, my friends.
