Panglao Alona Suites

A laid back tropical escape. Panglao Tropical Villas had spacious, clean, inviting rooms, and the friendly, attentive staff helped make everything go smoothly and made the stay enjoyable.

For what we paid, this was a very luxurious hotel room and better than what we’d found over the past months. You also get a balcony and access to the cool looking pool. I’d highly recommend it. The room was spotless, with a good TV, brand new airconditioning, a mini fridge, and a good shower. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were amazing too. The rooms and facilities feel pretty luxurious by Philippine standards. I’ve seen people complain that the shower is next to the toilet, but we’ve had that setup in every room for the past 2 weeks, so you get used to it. I don’t really understand the bad reviews.

The receptionist was friendly and the room was nice, but both the first and last nights we slept in room 310, it was noisy. Someone was singing loudly from 1:27am to 2:27am, and the whole building could hear it. She had a good voice 😂, but it was embarrassing for all the guests. Please be considerate next time, especially since I saw children staying at the hotel.

The staff made us feel welcome, the rooms looked beautiful, and the place felt very safe. I had a great time at Panglao Alona Suites. Thanks for a lovely stay, I’d definitely return! :)
