Villa Tomasa 2, Panglao

The service was poor. We waited over 24 hours for the water dispenser to be replaced, and whenever we asked for help there was no one at the desk. The room itself was okay and had Wi-Fi. Towels were available, but only after two days. There were no bathroom heaters or other amenities, the blankets were thin, and there was no TV. The roof also looked like it was about to fall in.

The location is a big plus. BPI ATM is downstairs, and Jollibee, McDo, 7/11 and other places are across the highway. Alona beach is about a 2-3 minute walk away. We booked the barkada room, which had enough space for eight people, but only one bathroom, so sharing it could be a problem when two people need it at once. They weren’t clear about what was included in the room. We got four towels for a room meant for eight. When I asked for more, staff said they only provide four and that it was posted on their Facebook page, but I hadn’t seen that information there.

Really bad experience. Breakfast came in a pack, with no coffee or anything else. There were no towels or toiletries, and the doors jammed, especially the CR. We accidentally left our key inside and asked maintenance for a spare, but they didn’t have one. Their only suggestion was to break the door, which would cost us Php1000 pesos extra. That felt expensive. I looked for reviews and couldn’t find any, so I’m leaving this first one. I hope they take it seriously and improve. One star from me.

The room had two beds, a bunk bed and a double bed. The CR was in poor shape: the drainage made water spill across the floor, and the sink was clogged. Service was bad too.
