The island is easy to explore on foot. A path circles it in about 45 minutes, with viewpoints along the way and lovely scenery all around. We found the place comfortable and well organized despite its remote setting, and the rooms were well kept and suited to island life. The food stayed consistently good, with plenty of variety. Service was friendly, attentive, and dependable without hovering. It was a very relaxing stay on a beautiful little island. At night, you can sometimes hear the generators, and the Wi-Fi isn’t very reliable. Given how remote the resort is, those limits made sense and didn’t affect our experience much. It’s a memorable place with real character and welcoming hospitality, a good choice for a relaxed island retreat.

The restaurant’s buffet setup takes some getting used to. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all buffets, and the selection is limited, though the food itself is creative and excellent. We stayed in a comfortable designer villa right by the water, on a lovely white sand beach. It was a little dark inside, but the outdoor bathroom was great. The small beachside infinity pool is a lovely sunset spot, and the bar next to it makes what I thought were the best cocktails in the Philippines. Getting here started with a beautiful boat ride from Taytay Harbor to a small island where time seems to have stood still. The resort is small and very cute, and relaxation is the main activity. A 15-minute climb to the top of the lighthouse gives you a superb view of the islands of the Bacuit archipelago. The hotel also offers lovely excursions. It’s run by a French businessman who has invested in cultured pearl production, but we chose the turtle sanctuary instead of the pearl farm. Swimming close to the turtles, some of them not shy at all, was a wonderful memory we’ll carry with us. We loved our stay and promised ourselves we’d return.

The room felt quite dark and didn’t get any sunlight, which was the main drawback for me. Otherwise, the small island was peaceful and relaxing, with lovely views and not many people around. You’d meet most of the guests over dinner, and conversations were friendly. The staff were helpful and very nice, and the tours available on the island were interesting if you wanted to spend a day away from it. It’s a beautiful place and a different kind of stay.

The pearl farm visit is a must. It gives you a look at how complex it is to grow beautiful pearls while doing it sustainably and protecting nature. The island’s clear sea is wonderful for snorkeling, and it’s good to know the natural environment is being protected for future generations. There’s something about this place that gets under your skin. Maybe it’s the incredible nature, the very kind people who make your vacation special, or something else. Leaving this breathtaking island just makes you want to come back. It really feels like a piece of paradise, and it’s definitely worth a visit.

The bar area has delicious sandwiches and pizzas, and picnics are available too. The transfer is well organized if you make arrangements a little in advance, so a note for anyone looking back at older comments. We spent five days at Flower Island, and it’s one of the best hotels and islands we’ve visited. The team made a big difference, with impeccable service, delicious and varied food, and excellent activities. Thanks to everyone. We hope to return soon to this little paradise.
