Grand Peace House II

I've stayed here several times, and the location is a big part of why. It's in F7, one of the best sectors of Islamabad, with the Markaz and Metro both a short walk away. The rooms are very clean and well appointed, and it's good value. The staff are attentive and humble. Having reliably hot water around the clock was a real treat, since you don't find that everywhere in Pakistan. Thanks for making my stay comfortable. Two thumbs up.

I wouldn't return or recommend this place. After I paid for a room, an emergency came up and I had to go back to Lahore before even entering it. They refused to refund the room charge and gave me a voucher for half the amount I'd paid, to use on a later visit. When I went back last week, the voucher said they'd received 4000 and had their stamp and signature, but they wouldn't apply it. They agreed the card was theirs and the stamp and signature were genuine, yet still didn't honor what they'd promised.

This was my second stay at grand peace, and it was very comfortable. The service, cleanliness, and security were all 10/10. Political unrest meant I couldn't travel on my original dates, but Abdullah let me use the same reservation in a later month without losing any money. I'll definitely visit again.

I was only in Islamabad for a day, so I couldn't extend my stay, though I wanted to. Everything was on point. If you're traveling solo, this is the best Airbnb to go to. It's worth every penny, and I loved the stay and the service from the staff and host.
