Faletti's Express - Shimla Hill

My stay at Grand Inn was terrible. The room was dirty and in poor shape, with a broken ceiling and a fridge that didn't work. The furnishings looked decades old. What I saw didn't match the online photos at all.

The police knocked on my door at 2:45 AM and questioned me while I was deeply asleep. It was alarming and unacceptable. I had booked four days at Hotel Grand Inn through Booking.com because of its so-called “3-star” facilities, but the description there was misleading. The kitchen was completely non-functional, so there was no breakfast, tea, lunch, or dinner, despite what Booking.com promised. Staff were unhelpful and gave lies and excuses on behalf of the owners when I complained. The hygiene was beyond unacceptable. Bedsheets, pillow covers, and towels were filthy, with large visible oil stains. The pillows also smelled rancid and oily, and the neglected room made it impossible to feel comfortable or clean. Hotel Grand Inn Shimla Pahari Lahore was a deplorable, unhygienic nightmare that doesn't deserve a single star. This isn't a 3-star hotel, it's a zero-star disaster with no regard for guest comfort or basic hospitality. I urge others to steer clear and Booking.com to reevaluate this listing so nobody else has to go through this. Save your money and book elsewhere.

The rooms were clean, and the atmosphere was peaceful. The staff were the best part of my stay, so nice and extremely accommodating. For the amount they charge, the hotel is definitely worth the hype. After visiting, I can say Lahore felt very welcoming and friendly.

I had a wonderful time here. The room was really nice, and the people working at the hotel were so kind. It was a great stay.
